《英雄聯盟》Bwipo稱「月經讓女性情緒不穩所以很難當選手」在歐美大炎上

《英雄聯盟》電競賽事發展十多年，雖未限制性別，但各國一級聯賽全是男性，「女性是否勝任電競選手」的議題也在玩家社群爭論多時。近日，《英雄聯盟》上路選手 FLY Bwipo 實況上表示「女性電競選手難以成功是受到月經影響」，言論一出瞬間在歐美社群大炎上。

Bwipo 指出，現今電競環境缺乏完整體系幫助女性解決生理問題。試想男性玩家都經常打到心態炸裂，女性玩家還得同時承擔生理期所導致的心浮氣躁，也更難維持競技狀態，也就更難成功。

他認為，正值生理期的女性並不適合參加高強度的比賽，訓練期間或許可以多覆盤、少打積分，或是開分身帳號練習等等；但現實層面上，賽程通常難以根據女性的生理期調整。

這段言論在歐美社群大炎上，《英雄聯盟》知名主持人 Sjokz 也公開表態，認為 Bwipo 的言論無知且危險。她以現實生活中女性在經期仍能完成許多高難度任務為例，例如創下奧運紀錄、擔任護理師 24 小時輪班、擔任大公司主管或律師，並反問：「難道一個《英雄聯盟》就辦不到了嗎？」

Sjokz 指出，「女性無法當電競選手」的原因與受到當今社會、父權主義背景影響，因為它們與「女性情緒化，因此無法勝任某些事情」的刻板印象相關聯，對女性造成傷害。

最後，Sjokz 也發佈一則反諷貼文，表示《英雄聯盟》應優待正值生理期的女性，包含敗場扣更少分、勝場加更多分、普攻增加 % 數傷害、裝備價格全部打折、召喚峽谷背景音樂改成 Lo-Fi 音樂等等。

北美聯賽主播 Azael 也表態，世界上存在極度理性的女性，也有極度情緒化的男性；電競領域目前由男性主導是事實，但正因如此更不該以「女性比較情緒化」來加深性別刻板印象，導致減少女性在此產業的機會。

Bwipo 所屬戰隊 FlyQuest 今（10）日清晨公告，表示 Bwipo 的言論已涉及性別歧視，因此將禁賽一個 BO5，且他的獎金也將全數捐贈至女性電競產業。
